Elubo/Amala Flour
Amala flour is a type of flour made from yam. It is a staple ingredient in Nigerian cuisine, particularly in the southwestern part of the country.
Amala flour is high in carbohydrates and is often considered a healthier alternative to other types of flour due to its lower glycemic index. It is commonly used to make amala, a dough-like swallow that is served with various traditional Nigerian soups.
